This case covers “Digital transformation”. Transition to a new level of automation to improve the quality of petroleum products and the depth of processing.

The project considered the following data and process areas: instrumentation signals, controllers, SCADA archives, telemetry, dispatching, commissioning and operating procedures. The client name and asset-identifying details are omitted due to confidentiality requirements.

Practical outcome: improved process controllability, measurement reliability and reduced operating risks. The solution was assessed by process controllability, data transparency and readiness for further support.

Further development may include early deviation detection, alarm analysis, technical condition forecasting and maintenance prioritization. These scenarios should be launched after the baseline solution is stable and accumulated data quality is confirmed.
